  • 1959
    Established SANKYO KOGYO CO., LTD. with ¥2,000,00in capital.
    Began dealing with Arakawa Auto Body Co., Ltd.
    Established the  Leaf Spring Department.
  • 1961
    Increased the capital to ¥3,000,000.
    Began dealing with Aisin Seiki Co., Ltd. and Takashimaya Nippatsu Kogyo Co., Ltd.
    Began production of parts for door locks and shock absorbers.
  • 1966
    Increased the capital to ¥6,000,000.
  • 1969
    Began dealing with Aisin Warner Co., Ltd. (current Aisin AW Co., Ltd.).
  • 1970
    Introduced a non-oxidation electric hardening furnace to establish the integrated production system, including heat treatment.
    Placed in charge of controlling critical parts and subassemblies.
  • 1973
    Introduced fully automatic wastewater treatment equipment to purify wastewater as part of environment conservation.
  • 1979
    Began production of door lock subassemblies in the assembly line to expand business.
    Press parts and assemblies became main products.
  • 1983
    Built new office building.
  • 1984
    Introduced the CAD/CAM system as a multi-forming machine. Expanded the assembly line.
  • 1985
    Introduced the Fujitsufs K-6700a office computer to computerize incoming and shipping controls of materials and products.Established the Engineering Development Department for rautomation.
  • 1987
    Began production of parts for sunroofs and expanded the assembly line.
  • 1988
    Completed the Motoshio Plant, and increased production volume of small press parts.
  • 1990
    Completed the 2nd assembly plant, and started seat unit assembly.
    Build a logistics center in Nawamachi, Tokai, Aichi, and transferred incoming and shipping administrations to this center.
  • 1995
    Increased the capital to ¥10,000,000.
    Installed a 160-ton large press line. Acquired ISO9002 certification.
  • 2002
    Established SK TECH Inc. in Inglewood, Ohio, U.S.A.
  • 2004
    ISO14001 Certification.
    We have just built a new pressing factory at Higashiura-cho, Chita-gun, Aichi prefecture and have moved all of the presses at our Motoshio factory and main office there. It is called Higashiura Kita.
  • 2008
    We are also building a new office directly to the south of the existing Higashiura factory. The sales department, quality department, and Meiwa Center (engineering department) will move there. This will be called Higashiura Minami.
